This was one of the first digital photos I took back in 2002 when $micahgoulart, my brother, brought a digital camera home from the US. For a Canon A20 and only 2 megapixels, the shots it would take were pretty good.

This specific shot was taken by my grandparent's farm underneath a bridge. The water level was pretty low so when my sister walked alongside the stream it seems like she was walking on water.

hmmm water. it has an air of divinity. and it feels like it is moving. i love photos that are just not quite real and this does that nicely without going over board. it alludes to something deeper without smacking one in the face with it.

also like the opposites here the bright white in the upper left and darker greys in the lower right vs the continous gret tone from lower left to upper right.
