What struck me to take this shot was the feeling carried by the boy's look as he sat there by the gate and waited.. what for or for whom?.. im not sure, but it sure seemed like he had been sitting there for long time.
This is really well done isac. I know I'm not a photographer or anything but I love how this picture makes me curious....i want to know who the boy is, why he's sitting there, what he's thinking about. That to me is what a great photograph is all about.
the colors really add to the photo.. almost reminds me of those Black Hawk Down photos. what you could do is use a layer mask to add a sky to the background, in place of the white .. giving the photo more depth.
it's hard to do this with a normal photo, because when it's taken during the day and focused on the foreground, the sky gets overexposed. the way i do it is to take two photos, one focused on the foreground and one exposed for the sky.. then join the two using layer masks.
nice composition, kind of wish the fence on the right side extended a little bit more than it does but it is fine, nothing big. i like how all of the colours flow together in a way -- they are all such earthy tones.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
