It's been one year (almost) since I submitted The Lonely Tree, and so I've decided to upload another shot of the same tree to "commemorate". I played a lot with filters and colors on this one, and so yes...I know... it doesn't look very real, but I like it this way. It looks quite surreal, actually... What I love is the dark blue, fading into the oranges, and then into the greens. I had fun playing around with this photo, so I hope you like it too.

That looks real enough for me. This is just moments before the world is engulfed in the apocolyptic fires of a giant meteor. Well, haev fun after the end of the world.

I'm not sure if you've ever heard or seen the HBO show "Six Feet Under", but the intro and credits to the show have a scene that looks almost exactly like this, though a bit more minimalistic colorwise. This is a beautiful shot! I love the progressive colors as well, they add a unique touch to the photograph to give it an extra kick :)
