I'm a victim of my own trend features.. lol. So here we see my attempt at the "lonely tree trend" with this shot taken at a farm in the interior of Brazil.

What stood out to me in this shot was not only the lonely tree (which is in fact a mango tree) but the incredible sky in the background. The tree seemed overwhelmed by the sky.

The Lonely Tree sits and holds vigil over it’s kingdom. Looking out over it’s vast field of green, it feels content. But as it turns up to the sky and sees the break in the clouds, it feels a sense of melancholy, and hopes one day for companionship. Gorgeously captured by the eye of Isac Goulart. Man, even though many have done it before me, I've always wanted to make a "lonely tree"-shot of my own. Your version of the trend wasn't bad at all I think, I really like the clouds in the background! Good job, and I hope that I myself will get just as good result when I've done my version of it ;)

Those clouds are fantastic, they really do seem as if they are overwhelming the lone tree. It would have been really cool if you could have gotten closer to the tree and taken a shot at an upwards angle looking into the sky. :)

This is amazing. As you said, the tree is really overwhelmed by those HUGE clouds. It looks almost minature against that sky.

this isn't altered at all? that's just stunning.. so much of the sky, the tree so far in the distance, the clouds threatening above. it's just perfect.
