This shot was also taken down in São Luis when I and the high school students of the school I work at, visited the park called Lençois Maranhenses.

I asked for a group of guys who were heading up the dunes to jump all together and then roll down the dune into the water, and I tried to get them all in the air at once.. Didn't work perfectly, but it still turned out a good shot.

So here it is. If you ever get a chance, do visit this park.. it's beautiful.

P.S. can anyone spot the Frisbee(TM)

this is beautiful... i actually think i might like it better without the boys jumping. they seem to detract from the beauty of the scene - at least for me. but really - it's amazing and i wish i could visit the park, too.

man, the 2nd dude on the right is pulling of some Superman jump :)
BTW: in regard to previous comment, I wouldn't remove the guys from the shot since they make the dune much more monumental.
