like I mentioned in previous submissions a while back, the high school students from the school where I teach, took a little tour trip to a city here in Brazil called São Luis, in the state of Maranhão.. while there, we visited a national park called the Lencois Maranhenses which was the opposite of a desert oasis. Instead of a patch of green vegetation in the middle of a huge desert, there was a desert right in the middle of a jungle/tropical area. It spread out for kilometers and in some places the rain water accumulated to form these massive pools of crystal clear water. Anyways, it was a fantastic visit.. one which I hope to take again someday.

Thats where I screwed up my knee the second time...still bothers me.
How come David always ends up in these pictures? Some kind of pressure? or just cuz he has nice back muscles?
Incredible photo. Looks like a dream... standing in a large open desert like this. The sky is absolutely amazing.
