I haven't been uploading much lately since class has been keeping me busy these days.. and I've missed deviantART. With winter almost done, I'm looking forward to new photo opportunities too. I'll be traveling to New York City in May so that will also be an amazing opportunity to take some new photos.
Anyway, this weekend I went out with a couple of friends to get some supplies for college life. En Chong, my Korean friend, spotted a BMW in the parking lot and we thought a picture by the car would be cool. I took the shot and worked with the coloring and borders. He really liked the photo and so I wanted to know what you all thought of it here on dA... So here it is. Leave your comments, and I'll let him know what you all think too.

I think the shot looks great. I love the colour choices, and the models expression is as much to say "My car is better than yours!", even though its not really his car Nice work.

I like this one a lot! everything works together really well- I even like how his shirt matches the car.

I like what you did with the border and think that the way the tones are working together looks great. As far as the photo itself goes, I can definitely tell by your friends expression that it's not his car because he shows no connection to it. Plus, him posing with the car looks a little silly since it's obviously in a parking lot. I'm not sure if either of you care about that matter, though! Regardless, your photo editing looks well done.
Pretty cool. That border really gives a grunge effect that fits very well. The guy pose is also very helpfull.
Still, on a tecnical note, I'd say that it misses some detail on the left side of the car. Wich I think it would be very good for the overal quality of the image.
