We went to the beach this weekend.. I had a great time getting away from all the stressful work, busy city life, and just having some time to quiet down a bit. My family and I were walking down the beach around dusk and we spotted some people playing soccer on the sand... I took a few shots, this being one of them. I'll put up the others later.

intresting frozen image.. i love the color of the sky, but seems a bit too grainy (or is it sand?) i bet it's not..so it's grainy, i bet is because fo the fast shutterspeet with not enough light :dead:

I don't think the background looks grainy at all, especially for a digital- now if you shot this with film, I might agree. I like the action- the sand being kicked up from his foot, and the fact that other guy is pointing. Great action. Peaceful setting- nice contrast.

beautiful colors in the sky and a wonderfully captured moment in time... summer and a day at the beach to relax seems so distant right now in the seemingly constant busyness of life.... thanks for reminding me to slow down by posting this
